Most Outstanding Business Contributor to the Arts

Congratulations to Patrick J Murphy on the recent conferring of an honorary doctorate by the University of Limerick. Pat served for many years as the Chairman of the Contemporary Irish Arts Society and the members of the Society congratulate Pat on this well-deserved recognition of his energetic support of the Arts in Ireland for half a century. Earlier this year, at a dinner at Dublin Castle, the Patrons of Business2Arts presented a medal to Pat, to mark the Most Outstanding Business Contribution to the Arts.

Exhibitions at IMMA

Opening on Tuesday 5 February at IMMA the exhibition   An Experience of Amusing Chemistry, Photographs 1990-1890 by the American-born artists McDermott & McGough includes more than 120 works using a wide range of historic photographic media. Opening on 27 February an exhibition of Cecil King's paintings.
